age of verbosity

Here comes google buzz, also recently, yahoo update, linkedIn network updates, it seems all websites try to become facebook or like. When all websites want you to broadcast yourself, things get confusing.

I do like facebook, especially after it improves privacy control. Recently I found I do read my fan page feeds.

For twitter, I am still not getting it. I follow some people, but still didn't really get into the habit of reading their tweets. Maybe I should.

But I love blogs. I still like to read my subscriptions in my google reader which is one of my favorite apps. Blog stands on its own, it doesn't invite nor refuse interested parties. I love its anonymousness when I write my own. I treasure my collections more, it is nicer because it takes some effort and sometime luck to step upon something brilliant, something familiar or just simply interesting, from the sea of people having their opinions out there.

I guess I am getting out-dated more and more.
